We prioritise the health and wellbeing of all our students and provide a variety of student services and support, along with our open contact centre for any enquiries. If any of our students need further support and help, we strive to help them as far as we are able. Please check out what we offer below.
Australian Skills Academy Pty Ltd (ASA) offers services to discuss student’s academic interests and objectives to make sure that they are enrolled in the right qualification. If required, we would recommend and facilitate options for students to seek professional career counselling.
Australian Skills Academy Pty Ltd does not offer professional counselling service to students. @Angels Connect acts as a point of contact and offers support to students and staff on matters and issues that fall within his capacity. However, if you need professional counselling or support services, then @Angels Connect will seek or recommend professional counselling agency.
The Manager of Student Services at Australian Skills Academy Pty Ltd is not a professional counsellor. However, we can assist you as the first point of contact.
If the Manager of Student Services identifies the need for a student to be referred to a professional counsellor, they will make recommendations and suggest a reliable and qualified psychologist.
Australian Skills Academy Pty Ltd offers academic support to students in addition to their regular scheduled lectures and training. Additional tutorial support can be organised if you require academic assistance. Workshops and one-to-one tutoring are conducted for students with academic difficulties.

During the enrolment & orientation process, all potential candidates will be offered an opportunity to discuss any special or additional needs they may require to fulfil their study requirements. This would be with regards to any arrangements needed while being a student at Australian Skills Academy Pty Ltd. For example Children, family commitments, disability or medical condition, other commitments, and religious obligations.
The Australian Skills Academy Pty Ltd representative will make a note of this on the student application form OR add notes to the students’ enrolment file and will evaluate it during the time of final selection.
The ASA acknowledges that learners sometimes may have personal issues that can impact on their capacity to participate in learning. In the event, you may need to access support services we can assist you.
For example, you might be feeling anxious/worried/scared, or being harassed, discriminated or bullied or having health issues or feeling threatened or It may be family or legal issues, it can be a variety of things that you might not be coping with as well as you should. We can help. Your contact is the “Support Services Officer” located at Bankstown. There is no need to make an appointment just ask for Marina Khoury.
Marina will talk to you about any issue in confidence and will do everything possible to steer you to the right people, who can assist you. A good starting point is Angels Connect which is a community services provider providing professional help to those that need it.
Most of the Support Services will be delivered by Government and Semi-Government agencies so it is unlikely these services will be free.
There is a process of pre-training review is to determine if the course is right for you based on past education, experience or skills. The admission may advise of Language, Literacy and Numeracy test to determine the right level of study for you.
For student sometimes, people have difficulty to progress on the course because of language, literacy and numeracy problems. So for all new students/clients having a problem with reading, writing and math skills, they can get support with extra classes or workshops.

Students can apply to receive an Interim Transcript (charges apply) anytime during the course. Please note, the Interim transcript cannot be used as a proof of academic achievement.
A “Completion Certificate” & Transcript of Units completed are issued upon successful completion of a course. Your award will be issued within 30 days of the college becoming aware that you are eligible to receive the award.
Awards are issued to students who complete the necessary requirements and have no outstanding fees.

Students must officially apply for replacement award(s) from Australian Skills Academy Pty Ltd. Students must include the original award with your application or a witnessed Statutory Declaration, declaring the circumstances if the original has been lost or destroyed. You will need to include a certified copy of evidence of name change if necessary.
After your graduation, you have several options available so that you may be able to continue your studies to pursue a higher level qualification or another field of study or you may be eligible to undertake post study work to put your newly gained knowledge to use and gained work experience. Australian Skills Academy Pty. Ltd. has plans to fill the needs of all promising graduates for higher education including university degree. We are constantly working with Higher Education Providers and University in Australia to create a pathway for our students to complete their bachelor in their chosen study. Once the articulation between higher education provider and or university is agreed, we will be able to provide the student to receive advanced standing towards their bachelor course.
